Adding Collaborators to your site

Updated
March 21, 2016

How to add Collaborators

For Collaborators to edit a website, you first need to invite them via email, which you can do through your site's settings.

Simply go to the CMS tab in the Site Settings and click Add a Collaborator to get started.

CMS Settings Tab

Here you will be able to invite Collaborators to add and edit content on the website, as long as you have CMS Hosting set up.

CMS roles

There are two roles within the CMS:

  1. Administrator (the site owner)
  2. Collaborators

Only the Administrator can add and remove Content Editors from the site, and are the only user that can access the CMS via the link in the Dashboard.

NOTE: The CMS button in the Dashboard is the only way the CMS Administrator can access the CMS.

Everything changed after Webflow's capabilities allowed him to jump headfirst in to the competitive world of freelance, creating entire brand and web experiences for dozens of companies. With the experiences of working with a wide range of companies, Mat thrives off teaching others how they too can supercharge their entire web creation process with the latest tools (like Webflow) and a broad range of the latest design techniques and approaches.
