How do I manage pages on my site?

Updated

1. Adding Pages

To add a page to your site, open the Page Tool menu and click on the Create New Page button.

2. Moving Pages

To move your pages to a new location, drag-and-drop the page where you want it in the page list.

IMPORTANT: Moving pages to a new folder will result in a URL update. This will cause the old URL to return a 404 page. If you want the old URL to redirect to the new location, see URL Redirects.

3. Duplicating Pages

Duplicate a page by clicking the Duplicate This Page button found in the Page Details menu.

4. Deleting Pages

You can delete a page by clicking the Delete This Page button found in the Page Details menu.

5. Home Page

To assign a different page to be the home-page, click on the Make Home Page button from the Page Details menu.

6. Page Name

From inside the Page Details menu, find the Page Name field and assign your page a unique name.

NOTE: You can name your page anything you want, including titles that better help you organize your site without worrying about it affecting your site URL structure.

7. Page Slug

From inside the Page Details menu, find the Page Slug field and assign your page a unique slug.

IMPORTANT: Changing the slug for a page will change the final URL of the page once it is published. If you want the old URL to redirect to the new location, see URL Redirects.

8. SEO Title

The SEO Title is used to create the link in search results.

9. SEO Description

The SEO Description is used to describe the link in search results.

10. SEO Keywords

Webflow supports the keyword meta data type but due to major search engines ignoring this tag, it's likely we will stop supporting it in the future. For now, use this feature carefully as misuse could have a negative impact.
