Build Your Online Portfolio Without Writing Code

Updated
March 21, 2016

fdtthe web becoming more and more involved in our daily lives, being able to create your own little corner of the web has never been more important (or exciting). The course is hosted on Skillshare, and you can view the full course there.

In under one hour with Webflow's Mat Vogels, you'll cover a variety of different topics, including:

  • Why you should be online in the first place
  • Basic web concepts, like the box model and responsive design
  • Building a website from scratch
  • Publishing a website

No prior knowledge of either Webflow or web design is required for this class, however, a basic understanding of either will make the course easier. Each lesson uses Webflow to demonstrate key topics and steps in creating our website.

You can also follow along with the free portfolio website template you'll build in this course by creating a Webflow account. Don't forget to download the assets/images I used on the website.

We hope that this course is both fun and educational, and look forward to seeing what you create in the future!

Mat Vogels is a designer located in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Mat jumped straight into the world of tech, working at companies such as PaySimple and Webflow as both a designer and marketer. Everything changed after Webflow's capabilities allowed him to jump headfirst in to the competitive world of freelance, creating entire brand and web experiences for dozens of companies. With the experiences of working with a wide range of companies, Mat thrives off teaching others how they too can supercharge their entire web creation process with the latest tools (like Webflow) and a broad range of the latest design techniques and approaches.
