How to point your GoDaddy domain to Webflow

Pointing your GoDaddy domain to Webflow is done from inside your GoDaddy dashboard. Follow the steps below or contact GoDaddy support with these instructions if you need more help.

Step 1: Navigate to DNS Zone File

  1. Open your GoDaddy Dashboard
  2. Go to Products Tab
  3. Launch the Domains Control Center
  4. Open your domain details page
  5. Go to the DNS Zone File tab

Step 2: Add A-Records

  1. Click Add Record
  2. Select the A (Host) record type
    Set Host to "@"
    Set Points to to "23.235.33.229"
    Set TTL to 1/2 hour
  3. Click Add Another
    Set Host to "@"
    Set Points to to "104.156.81.229"
    Set TTL to 1/2 hour
  4. Click Finish
  5. Click Save Changes

Step 3: Add CNAME Records

  1. Go to the CNAME Records section
  2. Select a subdomain you wish to point to Webflow (including "www.")
  3. Click the Edit Record icon
    Set Host to the subdomain you're using (e.g. "www")
    Set Points to to "proxy.webflow.com"
    Set TTL to 1/2 hour
  4. Click Finish
  5. Click Save Changes
NOTE: It may take up to 48 hours before changes are successfully made from your DNS provider. If your domain is not working correctly after 48 hours, let us know and we’ll take a look. :)
