How to add links to a rich text field

Using links within rich text fields is easy, and similar to how links are used throughout Webflow.

Step 1: Highlight some text in a rich text field

To add a link, simply highlight the text within a rich text field that you want to link to. Then, click the link icon to view the link settings panel.

Step 2: Choose where you want to link to

Here you'll have the ability to select from other pages on your website, other sections on this page, an email link, or a telephone link. When linking to other pages or sections, you can also filter by typing in the text field.

Step 3: Open link in new tab (Optional)

You can also choose to open a link in a new tab. Simply click on the Settings icon when you've highlighted a link to view this option.
