Can I password protect my website?

Updated
May 26, 2016

Step 1. Set Username & Password

From inside your site settings, navigate to the Hosting page, set the username and password you want to use in the Password Protection section, and click on the Submit button.

Step 2. Accessing Protected Sites

Once you click Submit, your website will require the username and password to access it. When someone goes to your site, they will see an authentication required popup asking for the username and password to login.

IMPORTANT: To test the password protected site, clear your browser’s cache and perform a hard-refresh of the page. If you experience any trouble, shoot us an email and we can help!
